  1. Explanation of the EDIT command. 
  2. It is EXTERNAL.

  4. This command will start the MS-DOS Editor, 
  5. which lets you change or create ASCII files.
  6.  
  7. Switches:  /b    Displays the MS-DOS in 
  8.                  Black and White.
  9.            /g    uses the fastest screen 
  10.                  updating for CGA systems.
  11.            /h    Displays maximum number of 
  12.                  lines possible for your
  13.                  computer
  14.            /nohi Enables use of 8 colors 
  15.                  instead of 16.
